Pierre, a 20-year-old man from Nantes, is the first user of the ORTHOPUS Supporter. We met him through our collaboration with ESEAN-APF France Handicap, a healthcare facility in Nantes. His arm mobility was limited, preventing him from raising his arm for more than a few minutes, whether for fixed or moving tasks.
Since October 2021, he has been using a prototype of the ORTHOPUS Supporter every day.

The ORTHOPUS Supporter does not replace the arm’s movement; rather, it complements it by following the user’s natural motions. Therefore, individuals using the device must retain some level of mobility in their arm.

As of now, there is no specific scientific study on this topic. However, observations suggest that devices like the ORTHOPUS Supporter can reduce fatigue and promote movement, potentially helping to prevent joint numbness.

Yes, it is! A table clamp can be provided with the ORTHOPUS Supporter.
