Yes, on most recent models currently on the market.

We have conducted tests confirming that its power consumption is low enough that it won't affect your wheelchair battery's normal operation.

Mounting the ORTHOPUS Supporter onto your wheelchair may widen it of few inches.
It is designed to protrude as little as possible from your wheelchair. However, in practice, the articulated base does tend to bump into door frames. The ORTHOPUS Supporter is sturdy and built to handle this without any issues (though we deeply apologize in advance for any scuff marks on your walls!).

Of course! The ORTHOPUS Supporter can be removed from your wheelchair and reinstalled in less than one minute.

The ORTHOPUS Partner is IP22 rated. Translation: it can handle light drizzle, but it isn’t 100% waterproof. Our advice: cover it up just like you cover yourself! If it’s raining lightly and you only have 10 meters to go, you’ll probably just dash out. If it’s raining harder and you have to cross town, you’ll want to put your raincoat on!

There are no specific scientific studies on the matter, but observations suggest quite the opposite. Arm supports help keep the body moving and prevent joints from stiffening up.

No, the ORTHOPUS Partner is strictly for use on power wheelchairs.
