🧠WHAT MOVES US
Social impact: our compass
What drives us, guides our course, and keeps us focused on what truly matters.
Our actions in the field
All year round

User and partner involvement
Co-design, Pirate Council, social impact committee, user interviews: we bake our community’s insights straight into our product development and company strategy.

Open knowledge & clear pricing
From clear pricing to arm-mobility resources, we publish maximum data. Knowledge is freedom: we want users in control and therapists fully powered.

Crew transparency
Every crew member has full access to company data—including salary grids, cash flow, and strategic directions. Trust goes both ways.
Socially Responsible Company of Public Benefit
Since 2019, ORTHOPUS has been certified as an ESUS company and recognized as a Social and Solidarity Economy enterprise. This status, granted by the French government, is awarded based on specific criteria, including: pursuing a social or public-interest mission, implementing democratic governance that involves the company’s stakeholders, adhering to a regulated remuneration policy, and reinvesting the majority of profits into the company’s operations.

Our commitments
For society and the planet
Since 2024, we’ve been backed by the Fertilidée cooperative —experts in Corporate Social Responsibility, aka 'CSR' - to build a business that actually respects people and the planet.
Based on our actual impact, we launched 4 action groups.
The crew took the helm on the following tracks:
✍️ Partnering with responsible, eco-friendly suppliers
✍️ Onboarding diverse talents to keep our crew inclusive at every level
✍️ Measuring and slashing waste in our robot engineering
✍️ Amplifying our users' voices to build exactly what they need
No sugar-coating
We want to do better, but the reality is that, all too often:
đźš© We work with suppliers outside the EU for reasons of lead times and cost.
đźš© Gathering user feedback is a real headache because there are two intermediaries between us.
đźš© Robotics is polluting: rare earth elements, components sourced from all over the world.
